"Little Man"

Let me introduce you to my "Little Man"... his name is Carson, he's about 3 1/2 yrs old now and still crazy (although I can say he has calmed down a little). Pure bread Maltese that I had shipped to me from Arkansas. (Yes I had him shipped, which I don't regret doing at all). I had found a Maltese breeder online at Adorable Pals. I had been following her site for a couple years while I waited patiently to graduate from college. So yes, I had time to do lots of research and watch many dogs get sold. So any questions? - just ask! As time was coming closer, I saw she just had a litter 2 days after my birthday in March! And there I found him.

Carson's "Mug Shot" at 2 weeks old

I chose him out of about 6 puppies; he was the cutest to me of course, with the perfect shaped nose/mouth and beautiful brown eyes. I immediately put a deposit down to hold him, and within 12 weeks & the remaining payment he was mine! My sister and I drove to the Philadelphia Airport to pick him up. He was so cute, tiny, and fluffy; about 5lbs soaking wet. All he wanted to do was be held and loved. Oh...I forgot to mention the date he was scheduled to be shipped out - they had to delay 1 day due to the high heat temperatures he'd have to travel through (a downfall of shipping an animal). I knew it was for his safety, but that 1 day couldn't go by any slower! Soon enough though, he was mine! And healthy. We were over-excited to receive him.

To this day, I love my "Little Man" to death! I don't know what I'd do without him; I'd either be one somewhat lonely girl OR even wilder then I already am. Sometimes I wonder what it'd be like to have no responsibility over a living creature...don't know whether that'd be a good thing or bad thing for me. But oh well, it's too late to think about that. He's mine now & I'm not giving him back!

Here are some pics from his photo shoot back in 2012! Yes..he had a photo shoot lol and the pics came out great! They were done by Lauren Kaplan. She was awesome & an amazing photographer as you can see!

I'm sure Carson will be popping up in posts here and there. If you have any questions about being a dog owner, traveling with a dog (which I know a lot about!), or even potty pads..feel free to ask!

I hope you enjoy him just as much as I do! I know my Mom does ;)

XOXO
