My Quick, Fun & Random Trips to LA!

Hey peeps!

So as you may have read, I spent very little time in Fresno, as to be expected with "the way my life is set up.." lol. During that time, I took a couple trips up to the Bay and many quick trips down to LA for all random reasons. If I could go back in time, I wouldn't change anything! I'd do them over if possible. So, I hope you enjoy as much as I did...

Random weekend trip down to LA, just because I had off :)
Ended up meeting up/going out with the boys!
Typical
Roscoe's for breakfast :) Mikey being greedy lol

Here's another quick 2 day trip down to LA to meet up with Emily & her brother Matt! They had driven across country and LA was part of the last leg of their trip, so I met them there. We had a lot of fun! Anytime Em and I are together shit gets a little cray lol.

First we went to a Clippers game at the Staples Center..
Ironically the same night the People's Choice Awards were filming! We got there after they all had gone inside, so we didn't see anyone famous, nor find an after party lol.
Fergie performed at halftime!
BFF <3
After the game, we got sushi from Katsuya restaurant,
right at L.A. Live (the Nokia Center). It was the
1st time I ever had sushi. I fell in love. To this day,
this is the best sushi I've ever had!
Shrimp Tempura Roll <3
That night, we stayed in Downtown LA at The Figueroa Hotel... an old, remodeled boutique hotel built in 1925. It was actually very nice on the inside and had a beautiful pool & atmosphere out back.

Out back...one drink before we headed out!
Before calling it a night, we took an Uber to Hollywood and hit up a couple bars. It was fun/interesting at the same time. We made the best of it though!

Love them <3
Moonshine shots?!
I have no idea... I think I was saying, "no more shots!" lol
Em and I being goofy...covering her pit stains haha. She wanted
a fireplace pic.
Love this girl and this pic!

So as you may could tell (is that a proper sentence?), we had a decent amount of liquor in our systems by the time we got back to the hotel lol. And with us... Liquor = crazy weirdness lol... We basically rearranged and destroyed the whole hotel room lmao..the pictures don't do it justice!

Brother & Sister stick fight

He literally weighed like 25lbs!

Stick fight

Definitely not where the couch belongs haha

She watched over us all night :) Creepy lol

Surprisingly, we woke up on time and were able to eat
at the famous Original Pantry Cafe down the street..

It was delicious! And well needed :)

Next trip down to LA was for my friend, Stephen's, 30th Birthday Party & the MLK parade that Monday! I stayed at a Hostel the first night then at Simone's (Stephen's sister who I met at the party) the second night. It was my first time staying at a Hostel, and it actually wasn't bad. I really only needed a place to crash for a few hours overnight and it was a wayyy cheaper option. Anddd, I had to experience it at least once in my life, right?! Anyway, Stephen's party was so much fun, as expected; held at The Lounge (Hemingways) in Hollywood. Glad I was able to go. And I met Simone that night and we've been friends since! The MLK parade was the next day. I didn't know anyone else going, but I knew Stephen was going to be DJ'ing on the Trinidad Carnival float, so I thought that would be a fun experience...and it was! I had soo much fun! So so glad I went. Everyone danced along the whole parade route listening to Soca- just like carnival but without the costume. It was a long/ day, and getting lost finding our car on the way back made our day even longer! But it was well worth the trip!

Oh! And I got my hair laid that weekend by a girl Ashley
I met through Instagram! Needed this before any festivities
could take place lol.

Well guys...I think that about wraps up my quick LA getaways! I hope you enjoyed them, because I know I did! By the looks of it, that's where I might as well be living!

Oh wait! There's more... the day before I moved out of my Fresno apartment, I went down for the Hollywood Carnival Band Launch at Ebanos Crossing and drove right back to Fresno that next morning like a crazy women only to load my car/pick up Carson and head to the Bay. Before the party though, I had a mini beach day with Ashley (the girl who laid my hair previously)!

Santa Monica with Ashley :)

Hollywood Carnival 2015 Band Launch! Was so much fun!
Great seeing my LA friends and I finally met Machel Montano!

Great picture! Us with Machel <3
Now I think that's it! If something else comes up I'll just have to add it in another post somewhere lol. I still have to post about my birthday weekend down there, as well as my Trinidad & Tobago Carnival Trip! So stay tuned... I will be back ASAP!

Thanks for reading!
