Shante: My 26th Birthday Weekend in LA!

Hello again!

Let's jump ahead, well back to, my 26th birthday! On March 2nd. (I'll post Trinidad next :))) So, I spent the weekend down in LA (of course) for my birthday. Olivia and I drove down there on a Friday and came back that Monday. Friday night we went out with Simone to a club in Long Beach and stayed at her place that night. When we first got to the club, we were a little iffy, but turned out to be not so bad. A little ratchet, but hey, what can ya do lol. But we ended up having a good time!

For the next two nights, Olivia and I, along with the boys (they came down for the weekend for my birthday!) stayed at a house down the street from Venice Beach that we rented through AirBnb. It was really nice and in great proximity to the beach. On Saturday when the boys arrived, we walked down to the beach before the sun set, experienced the weird atmosphere of Venice Beach lol, had a fun mini photo shoot, and later went out to a club (I forget the name).

The next day, we got breakfast on the boardwalk, made a trip to the liquor store, walked/window shopped Rodeo Drive, had dinner at their favorite African Restaurant, then went out to The Lounge (a club) in Hollywood for Reggae night! It was lots of fun and that night we had a blast!

Fun times had by all!

Long, but fun day! The next morning we got breakfast at a place down the street before we all had to get on the road. It was a perfect way to end the trip, for me.

In all, it was a good weekend that I got to spend in California with my closest friends!

On Monday, the day we got back, my actual bday, Olivia and I ate Sushi at a restaurant and was supposed to have a movie night. So we bought wine & cake, got back to her apt and watched a movie for about 10 minutes before I passed out on the couch lol. I was exhausted! It was the thought and effort that counted haha.
